AMAZON KINDLE VELLA – NEW READING REVOLUTION OR A MISCALCULATION? ORANGE EXPLORES

SO, WHAT IS KINDLE VELLA?

Before we start with this question, you need to know what is KDP.

KDP is Kindle Direct Publishing, which is Amazon’s e-book self-publishing platform. This is where authors get to publish their e-books for free. While the margins are not that good and only exceed up to 70% with most being in the range of 30%. This is quite considering our self-publishing terms and royalties at Orange Publishers where the author makes the most profit on all books sold.

So how does KDP tie into Kindle Vella?

This is where things get interesting.

KINDLE VELLA

Kindle Vella is something revolutionary. It is this new way of publishing and interaction with the reader that was impossible before the internet. Kindle Vella lets authors publish serialized stories, one episode at a time. This ties in perfectly with the rise in series culture in nearly all forms of art from TV series to YouTube videos, music releases etc. Everything in 2022 is slowly but surely moving to the serialized model of publishing which ensures longer user engagement.

The unique thing about Kindle Vella is that it brings this to the literary world. With this, authors can hope to gain the same level of engagement with their audience and ensure their work stays relevant and also ensure they get to compete with the already established names of the literary world.

IS THIS CONCEPT REALLY NEW?

Well from a concept point of view we can’t say similar models haven’t been tried ever before. Novels of fiction from authors like Arthur Conan Doyle etc have been published in a serialized format but serious works of literature have to be limited to novels. Because of the outreach limitations authors prior to this haven’t really been able to break down their novels into chapters and release them weekly or daily. Doing so in paper format is cumbersome and printing and publishing them orderly is quite the effort no publishing house likes to deal with.

From this standpoint, Kindle Vella ensures that the episodes or chapters or even small segments of chapters get released according to the breakdown the author wants.

HOW TO GET AMAZON VELLA?

Here’s some good news and some bad news, the good news is that Vella can be installed both from the Apple Appstore and the Google Play store. The bad news is that it’s still a US exclusive offering. This is primarily because it’s still in its early stages as Amazon checks if it is a viable business model worth launching to the global wider market.

HOW DO YOU READ STORIES IN AMAZON VELLA?

Currently, as the model stands, you can read the first three episodes of an offering for free and upon liking and seeing if that series is for you, you can then buy tokens which you can redeem on new episodes.

Here’s a breakdown of the token prices

Number of tokens Price Price of each token Rough word count

200 $1.99 $0.01 20,000

525 $4.99 $0.0095 52,500

1100 $9.99 $0.009 110,000

1700 $14.99 $0.0088 170,000

The more tokens you purchase the cheaper you get them. There are also exclusive offers to choose from. You also get a Crown after completing a story which you can use as a rating to give the best series. This determines the ranking of the series and the author.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR THE AUTHOR?

Currently, the royalties depend upon the tokens but there’s a catch. The author only gets 50% of the royalties and the other 50 is taken by Amazon.

CONCLUSION

So, is the Vella worth your time? Well, there are a few things we personally do not like, like the complex token system and the US exclusivity and the high royalty cuts taken by Amazon. But considering all things, this is still quite a new and revolutionary idea worth your time. Maybe try it as a reader and maybe you will like it.

For the author, although this gives you a good platform, it isn’t worth it for such meagre royalty shares. And if you are someone who wants more autonomy and power to stay with the author, Orange Publishers is the perfect destination for you because we provide the most seamless publishing experience and clear royalty deals which are the best in the market. We take of every aspect of the publishing process. If you are going to be an author, why fall for big corporations when you can rightfully publish and be an author, at Orange Publishers.

HOW TO OUTSOURCE EBOOK WRITING BY ORANGE PUBLISHERS

Outsourcing any book and especially an eBook is quite common. You might ask who are the people who outsource their books. They can be people who want to write down their research papers but do not have the time and writing skills and they can also be lecturers who want to make the lectures into an eBook for their students as well as people who are engaged in different professions and simply do not have the time to write a book and even businessmen who want to write business eBooks and much more.

This usually happens as the person who wants to write the book has a clear set of goals and ideas and they either do not have the time or the resources or the skills to write a full-fledged eBook and this is when they start looking for ghost-writers and content writers who are going to write the book for them. But before we begin there are a few critical steps of understanding that they must know.

· PRE-OUTSOURCING

If you are someone who is not writing your book but rather outsourcing it then your role changes slightly and you become more like a project manager who has to manage the process of their book being written. And like any project, they have to fulfil a few tasks necessary for the completion of the book. Let us see in the next point what are these tasks.

· GOALS

Before you even start the process of hiring any book writer to write your eBook, you must be clear yourself about the reason for writing this book. This book is maybe written if you want to shed light on the industry you are working in and thereby you also need a writer who is familiar with this industry. If you are doing this as a motivational book so that people might get uplifted then you must also choose a writer who understands motivational speech. If this book is purely academic and will serve as a guide for your students then you must also find a writer who has an academic background and knows how to write academic material. We are basically saying that you must find the writer that fits the bill and understands the scope and goal for your writing of this book. This makes it quite easy for them to write the book.

· EXPLAINING THE WORK

Explaining the scope of a book is of the essence when you are starting this endeavour with the writer you have hired. It is important that you explain to them what is the reason for you writing this book and also what are the tasks they have to do. This will also include your vision about the book which may include how long you want the book to be and how many chapters you want to be there and even the word limit and paragraph limit. You can also explain to the writer that you want graphic diagrams as well as any other requirements. This type is quite important as this step prevents any miscommunication and dissatisfaction after the work has been completed.

· THE PREPARATION

This is probably the most important stage of the process wherein you get to hand over all your research notes and clip notes and any other material that you want to include in the

book. This stage also contains the project plan in detail and everything that you want them to do in the book which may also include various illustrations as well as various sources of inspiration that led you to start this book. The more in-depth you are in this process the better your outcome will be and the better the writer’s final book will resemble your vision. This is also the point where you want to establish a good working relationship with the eBook writer as you would want to express as much as you want for your vision of the book.

· THE OUTSOURCING

There are a lot of places where you can outsource your book. Let us talk about a few of these options.

A. FREELANCE WEBSITES AND PLATFORMS

This is probably one of the most cost-effective and one of the most popular options out there. You can visit a few of the most popular freelancing websites wherein you can choose a writer of your liking based on their ratings and even their past work success rate. These writers are generally good at what they do and can produce satisfactory results.

B. GHOSTWRITING WEBSITES

If you are looking for professional work and by that we mean work that is certified to be of the best quality then you can visit dedicated ghost-writing websites where you will find the best writers who are professionals in what they do and have years of experience and you will be able to work with them seamlessly.

· POST-OUTSOURCING

This is probably the trickiest part for you as the patron of this eBook. At this stage, you would like to have close supervision while the writer does the writing. This is where that healthy working relationship comes into play if you have a good working relationship already established with the writer then you can give them pointers as to which way the eBook should head. You can also give them materials while they do the work and assist them and also approve the outline that they provide you. And after all the supervision work and a few back and forths between you and the eBook writer, you can finalize the work.

This was a brief how-to guide for you to outsource your eBook. And if you are comfortable with outsourcing your eBook then you are also knowledgeable enough to understand that the best way to publish an eBook is through self-publishing where you get to decide where and how the book is published and promoted and this is where we come in. We are Orange Publishers; India’s premium self-publishing book house and we would love to assist you in publishing your eBook.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT BOOK IMAGES AND COPYRIGHT BY ORANGE PUBLISHERS

Ask someone who is into publishing about the lengths they have to go to ensure that the image they are using does not violate anyone’s copyright and they will tell you how staggering that is. Copyright is an issue that is there to protect creative content creators and copyrights can be issued to anything creative and that includes songs videos movies as well as the simple image.

COPYRIGHT A BOON AND A CURSE?

If you are a writer and an author then this is probably bad news for you because let’s face it creating your images after you have written a book can seem like a lot of work. Creating illustrations or even hiring a professional illustrator for adding images to your published book can also seem like a lot of work.

The biggest mistake you as an author can do right now is pick up any odd image from Google and hope that this image is in circulation so the original right holders and owners of this image will not probably care but you would be mistaken.

HOW COPYRIGHT CAN COME TO BITE YOU!

Copyright laws are enacted to protect the use of various materials such as images and corporate laws are strictly enforced when someone who has not created the image or does not hold the rights to the image is using that image for commercial purposes. If you are trying to add that image to your book you would be doing that very thing. You may wonder that your book is now published and it’s going great and the sales are good and no one seems to have knocked on the door that you are in the clear but you should probably check your business email where there will be probably an email where a lawyer is asking you to take down the image and call back all the books in circulation with that image. The lawyer is asking on behalf of that company for an exorbitant fee for using their image without their permission.  Failing to do this can actually end you up at court where you are on the losing side because you do not have any proper reason to use the image and legally you are in the wrong.

SO, WHAT CAN YOU DO NOW?

The best way to go about this if you are a new author and you do not have a lot of capital and you’re simply starting out is to look for websites that offer images with the CC licence which is the creative commons licence.  We would not like to mention any websites because the websites change their policy from time to time but if you do a quick Google search you will always come across a website that offers images from hobbyists to everyone to use their images for any purpose and that also includes commercial purpose.  While some images make come with the additional task of you having to mention the actual author of the image as an acknowledgement in your book but overall creative commons licence images are good to use.  The only problem with this is that aunt a lot of them are around and because it’s free it is probably bring used by others.

WHAT’S THE BEST THING TO DO?

You can always go and visit various stock image websites like Shutterstock etc and get a subscription. Any image you download from them while the subscription is active will also come with a licence to use that image and once you’ve obtained that image, you are free to use it as you like. Although we would still suggest you look up the TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

IS THERE ANY OTHER WAY?

Let’s bring you in on a secret! Well, not a secret really. As for being the best self-publishing book house in India, we at Orange Publishers have this covered. Illustrators? We have them. Why Every Author Must Have a Author’s Website

An author’s website is a place for the author to reside permanently and can be an avenue for the author to showcase their world of creativity without any restrictions placed by other bookselling websites.  An author’s website is crucial for them in building relationships with their audience and it is a place for readers to visit at their convenience.  The website acts as a portal into the author’s world and it can also benefit them in the publishing aspect of books. The author’s website should be a culmination of a resume website, a personal website, a portfolio website, a gallery as well as a place to get exclusive access to the author.  As we can see that authors are slowly transitioning into building their custom websites and this is helping them in this tech-savvy age.

Here is why every author needs their website.

Independent control –

This is a combination of factors because an author’s website acts as a tool for building the brand of the author as well as giving them independence over the sales of their books and greater control over the showcasing and brand image of the author.  In addition to them having a website, authors in this day and age must have a great degree of social media presence as there is no better way to build a connection with the readers.

Fandom –

gone are the days when others had to use pen names to publish their books and be secretive to their reader base.  An author’s personal website acts as a plugin to all their social media handles and all their social media activity and can act as an exclusive point for readers to engage with their fan base and interact and even collaborate with them.  In this age of literal face value, it is not practical for the author to go out of the norm and not have a social media presence or an online presence with their website because they will fall out of demand and will not be able to create a lasting image.

Sales –

websites like Amazon and other books selling websites are great because they already have the audience footfall present for the authors book to shine and their infrastructure is already in place for them to become a great book publishing hub. However, websites like Amazon and Flipkart also have to earn money and therefore they charge a certain percentage of the actual profit of the book and there is also the charge for their delivery which is a standard rate and if you add up the costs there is actually very little profit for the other to gain. Personal author’s websites on the other hand are a place where the author can sell the book directly to the reader without having any middlemen like Amazon to dictate the terms of the sales.  And the author can even organize book-signing events and promotional events and publicize them right in the website without having to pay extra money to E-Commerce websites for promotional content.

Now that we have established the fact that every author needs a website, we can go over the tips to create a perfect author’s website-

Details –

details such as a proper contact information section and bio as well as proper keywords that depict the genre and category of the books are important as it assists the website to be organically discovered in a Google search.  Along with that, details to an easily accessible payment gateway and login section for the readers must be present so that they can view their purchases from the author’s website.  Other details such as all the plugins for the author’s social media handles as well as other places the author is selling the book must also be present along with proper hyperlinks so that the visitors of the website can go to wherever the author wants to direct them.

Responsiveness and attention –

the website must be responsive and the UI easily navigable so that the readers may not find it difficult to go from one book to another as well as other sections that the author has decided to include. The website must be optimized for mobile view. There must also be a section for blogs that the author writes because it will beneficial for the website’s discovery online.  There must be a dedicated team making sure that the website gets updated as frequently as possible with all the new details of new book releases and other content that the author has created along with every social media interaction and every interview and other social events that the author has partaken in as well as a place for the media to get material such as the author’s pictures and book cover pictures for use in the press as well as updated banners with press coverage of the author as well as upcoming events that the author will partake in.  This will also be beneficial to Google search results because Google search algorithms identify the website as responsive and organic and relevant.

Here were a few why’s and how’s for a successful authors website. However, this is a lot of work for a single author to do all by themselves. Here is where we come in hand, we at Orange Publishers, India’s most loved self book publishing house in India, will not only publish and promote your books but also handle all other aspects including designing a website for you.

Why Are Book Reviews Important To Authors, Readers and Publishers?

In this blog we will discuss the importance of book reviews and how a book review is more important than it seems and how a book review and benefit the reader as well as the author. Book reviews come in all shapes and sizes they can be long as well as short and they can be inside full as and even poorly written and not a good way to judge a book.  There are a lot of pros and cons to book reviews but in this blog, we are going to discuss primary why we all can agree that book reviews are not such a bad thing and that if book reviews are written properly by the proper professional book reviewers with the proper know-how and prowess then book reviews can act as an important tool to not only the readers but also the book market and book publishing industry in general. Few ways in which book reviews solve a lot of problems and are a blessing to the literature community.

Through the woods –

just like Google and the internet, the book market and the book publishing world is a huge place and finding the right book of your choice can be like finding a needle in a hayfield. Book reviews by professional book reviewers as well as reader reviews can act as a guide to help you find the book of your choice. Writing a book review is an art in itself because you don’t want to give away too much that is in the book and there is the risk of favouritism and bias and there is also the risk of manipulation, however, in the literature community we all can agree that this is not a big issue.  All things aside book reviews by an unbiased reviewer have always done better than harm and has always guided that readers’ community towards books of their liking.

Through the looking glass –

Although book reviews and book criticisms can be put together on the same page or perhaps the same book, but book reviews are sort of a glimpse into a world that you may or may not choose to enter and this is important from the author’s perspective because without the review the book would not even have reached the potential book buyers and potential readers. Now, an author can get past this problem through promotion and advertisements however there is nothing like word-of-mouth in the literary community as we can agree that the world of literature is something of a world that has moved into the future with strands still in the past.

Through the mirror –

book reviews are important because they act as a reflection and interaction (be it one way) for the author to truly get a sense of how the community is reacting and embracing their work. Book reviews can be polished or crass but book reviews nonetheless provide an idea to the author of what their audience base is wanting from them and deciding if or if not to enact future changes on that demand, but get a sense nonetheless of how their book is been received by the audience. There are a select group of authors who do not adhere to or even read book reviews let alone make changes after reading book reviews because they have this belief that the work should be independent of external involvement but overall, the majority of authors tend to give importance and attention to book reviews.

Through the Gutenberg –

book reviews are embraced by successful published authors and successful publishing houses and even book stores and dealers because this shows the literature community and industry in a good light as being transparent and open to criticism and on the economic point of things book reviews are excellent untainted free publicity that any wise author will not be willing to let go.  The literary community is a close-knit community and forgery of book reviews are simply not possible if not practical or viral because one can talk to buy a few reviews for a few reviews but if the community gets a hint of this that publishing house for that other than we ostracized or in online terms, informally banned for life.

Just as books have shifted from being paperbacks to hardbacks to Amazon Kindle e-book readers, book reviews have also come a long way from being on testimonials in book stores to editorials in newspapers to Amazon’s “what the customer thinks” area and we hope and we predict that book reviews are here to stay. What we can say for certain is that Orange publishers are the best self-publishing Book House to publish your books and we at Orange Publishers take book reviews seriously and never try to intervene in this process of pure criticism called book reviews.

A few common challenges faced by a first-time writer

Writing can be a therapy, an escape or even the opposite, writing varies in purpose from person to person. Writing however we can agree, is expression. Maybe that expression is to impress your peers, maybe that expression is of your agony or maybe you are ecstatic and overjoyed at something and you simply want to share your experience with the world. Writing as I said fulfils various purposes for various people. In this short blog, we are probably not going to talk much about the purpose or the meaning of writing as such, but it sure will come into play in bits and pieces. We are however going to focus more on the act of writing, how distractions can create problems and how you can find solutions to them probably. Probably is the word here because unlike math’s, nothing is predetermined in this noble act of writing.

One of the more infamous distractions or rather a bit more than a distraction a writer faces is the dreaded Writers Bloc, well it’s not a writers recreation club, nor a type of brain disease, it’s a creative limbo, a stagnation of thoughts, a stoppage of ideas. Writers want to write but simply do not find the will or rather the material to pen down. And this causes great anxiety, the anxiety of wasting time. The solution to this is not quite what people imagine. Yes, taking a break is the answer. Now working for a few days, not forcing yourself to write just for the sake of completing work is the key here.

One of the other key problems a writer faces is, what should they write on. Now the solution can be pretty simple, I can suggest you write on something that inspires you, something that steals your sleep, something that keeps you on your toes. But this advice would be a bit vague. One of the other issues a writer faces is the mirage syndrome which I like to call. They come across come idea and try to remember a keyword or two and think that that would be enough for them to recall the idea when they finally get writing. They don’t, they may remember just the idea but completely forget the essence. For this the solution is old-school. Keeping a notebook handy and noting down the idea whenever it comes in great detail and maybe even penning a few lines then and there. Writing is a continuous process, you do not want to start in the future, but rather nurture and fertilize the idea in the future.

The third problem faced by writers is they try to sort out the monitory aspect of writing in the beginning. Never let the desire for monetary gain seduce you in the beginning. Monitory gains must always be a sign of your writing success, not a symptom, by that I mean is that you must look at money or monetary gain as a sign that may or may not probably happen, not as a symptom that can affect and change you. You must therefore diligently choose this as a career after much reflection and thinking as it is risky. Moreover, you’ll probably not get noticed by any traditional publisher willing to risk their money on your debut work. You can minimize the risk by self-publishing from reputed publishers like Orange Publishers.

The final problem is a problem that is perhaps the curse of the literary world; Confidence. There are probably thousands of exceptional writers out there who have kept their phenomenal works under wraps in the dark because of a lack of confidence, because of the fear that their work may not be received well by the audience, may not make an impact. The problem with this approach is that, unless you bring out your work to the open, you can never be certain if it’s a success or not. The fear of judgement may seem tough but it’s like taking a leap of faith. Work tirelessly, complete your work, and just take a leap of faith out into the world without caring too much. Either it’s a hit or miss if it’s a hit well and fine if it’s a miss, well try again, who’s stopping you.

These are a few challenges a first-time writer may face but if they just stick to their plan and complete the work, there will always be us at Orange Publishers willing to accept the work they choose to self-publish. Keep writing, keep expressing.

The World of Self-Publishing and why it is perfect to offset the gender ratio in authorship

Traditional publishing had always been a male profession. Authors, publishers, editors etc. all men. This has greatly harmed female voices of literature in the past. There have been revolutionary authors like Jane Austin to break this although through a made-up male identity because they simply didn’t have the legal capacity to sign a publishing contract without a male and of course. After all, women were not seen as authors, more so as readers. Traditional publishing is where the publishing house takes up the cost of publication and promotion and publishing houses back then were quite patriarchal and orthodox; they didn’t want to risk their capital on a female author.

This however changed quickly enough when women authors started proving their worth as capable authors both by writing seminal works of literature and their books keeping publishing houses afloat. Authors like Virginia Woolf, JK Rowling are maybe some of the biggest names and biggest economic successes when it comes to the art of books.

However, in today’s world, the frequency of great books and great authors have risen considerably, well suffice to say, some of the best TV series’ have been adaptations of books. With their hands full and with phenomenal authors already in contracts with them, we can all agree that publishing houses do not have the time to work on and discover new authors. And with today’s global market the competition to win a place at traditional publishing contracts is cutthroat. So, what do you do budding author? You know you have what it takes, your friends, your known ones who had the exclusive privilege to read your awesome work know you can be on the zenith of success, only if, only if a reputed publishing house would just pick up your work. Well, many great women authors have been lost to times oblivion trying this. Others have opted for a different approach. If you do not get a place on the table, build your table. By that, I mean the progressive open world of opportunities that self-publishing houses like Orange Publishers offer.

Authors like L.J. Ross and others are proof of this. Self-publishing is being independent, not being liable to anyone but yourself, being everything that women of 2021 must be. Self-publishing not only opens you out to the market from an author’s perspective but also you can understand the risks of a publishers perspective. Self-publishing helps you evaluate market conditions without any strings attached. You are not shielded from market forces; you get to be there and experience the entirety of it. And of course, publishers love confidence, self-publishing will ultimately show traditional publishing houses how confident you are with your work that you have decided to go through with publishing from your pocket.

Self-publishing will not only offset the gender ratio gap of male to female authors but will ultimately pave the way for the cause of feminism. The world needs women who do not stay silent on rejection, here the scenario of being rejected by traditional authors but take matters into their own hands and gun the engine of sheer will and drive into success. The time for compromises is over. St orange publishers we are dedicated to happily self-publish your books and with your phenomenal work and our publishing and market expertise, we sure will create waves in the world of literature.

A Simple Guide for A Book Marketing Plan That Will Promote Your book

The plan is simple, your goal being for the book to reach the desired audience numbers you aimed at and the more the better. Book marketing is a process that begins way before you even publish the book. Any good product or art requires a proper stage to launch the thing. Similarly, the same goes for your book.

Let’s break down the steps into two categories, pre and post.

Pre (being the time before you have published the book)

A Solid Stage Before Marketing

An author’s website is vital for publishing the book, a place which traffic can be directed to, a solid foundation, the closest thing to a physical bookstore’s isle dedicated to your works.

A Channel to Funnel

Like I was saying, traffic is the key, the way for people to reach the book. This channel consists of a plethora of websites where you must market the content, including Quora, Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and even YouTube. This sets the tone for the book to have a favourable environment to be published.  A simple case of creating demand before production.

Widening The Channel

Building a channel is not enough, you must ensure your constant presence in the literary circles and especially the genre you want to publish in. This includes constant interaction on literary groups on Facebook, comments on literature focused Twitter accounts, sharing of Instagram material, recreating of material with the assistance of current trends. This will warm up the market before you eventually publish.

Dusting the Launchpad

This includes keeping all the promotional material for your book ready, from posts related to the book, to book trailers, giving a heads-up to the affiliates and influencers you have contacted. Including all the copyright legalities and everything that you don’t want to invest valuable time in once the book is out and about.

Mind Holds All Might

Perhaps the most important of them all is getting your mental state right in order. This includes you taking a short break from working on the pre-publishing of your book and patting yourself on the back because you deserve it. Also try not to have second thoughts at his point and let the literary gods guide you, that being your creative confidence and faith in the audience.

Post(being the time after you’ve published your book)

1. Navigate the Amazon

Amazon being the biggest online bookseller, a master at amazon is a master at book marketing. From building a proper author’s page to building an Amazon author’s portfolio to asking your known ones to post honest reviews on your book’s product page and to not use nefarious means to trick the Amazon algorithm is the key to getting noticed in amazon. You must also aim to bring traffic from all the other channels you’ve worked on building an audience to the amazon book product page. If Amazon notices the genuine traffic that your book is generating, you will rise in leaps and bounds in the organic product rankings.

2. Using the Launchpad

Now is the time to use up the army of influencers you have contacted, and utilize them for generating hype just for a couple of initial weeks after the book launch. From distributing copies to them to discussing and arranging for them to conduct free giveaways to setting embargos for them to follow. This is an excellent way to create huge waves in the market. They get valuable content and material for giveaways and you get the valuable attention the book needs initially.

3. Use up even the pit

Amazon may be one giant you have to deal with but you must not ignore the other, possibly bigger giant, that being Google. According to Google, the more places you pop up, the more relevant you are organic, the more Google sees fit to push your product. Try selling your book on multiple platforms, both through paperback, hardback as well as eBooks, even audiobooks if possible. The more you appear on the internet, the more the internet deems fit to reveal you to the audiences.

4. The extra push

The organic way to promote your book and increase your book’s google rankings may be slow, that’s where advertisements come into play. A proper ad campaign on Google including PPC (pay per click) campaigns and sponsored ads on Instagram, Facebook and Amazon are helpful if not vital. This is great because even if all the people seeing the ads don’t buy the book, they at least get to see the book thereby increasing the book’s visibility in this flood of products and content.

5. The final push

Now having done most of the things humanly possible, it’s always a good idea to keep pushing the book in the literary community, including groups, forums and other places people generally notice stuff, like the comment section of posts that have something common with your book.

Now if you are like me and all the above steps seem too much of a hassle to do for someone that simply wants to concentrate on writing and nothing else, there is always pioneers and industry leaders like Orange Publishers who do all the above for you and beyond, they will sort out the pre-publishing, the publishing, the post-publishing as well as the constant support your book needs in the physical as well as digital marketplaces.
